Its incredible natural and human-made landscapes spread across the country to offer picturesque views that attract tourists from far and beyond. The natural diversity, including the must-see national parks in the desert to the cosmopolitan delights of high-end gambling, shopping, gaming, and dining outlets in cities like Reno and Las Vegas, make Nevada ideal for any visitor.

The silver state is so all-rounded that anyone can feel at home and this cultural embracing has become a marketing strategy by foreign travel companies such as “Arabic Vegas” that focuses on Middle Eastern tourism to Vegas. And why not, Nevada with the crown of Vegas really has something for everyone!

The Las Vegas Strip

The 6.8 km Strip offers a rich travel experience. There is no doubt that the Las Vegas Strip is a world-class entertainment spot developed over time to cater to the dynamic nature of modern lifestyles. Under normal conditions, the strip attracts an average of 37 million visitors annually. These figures confirm that the strip, indeed, caters to diversity and upholds optimal professional standards. To embrace its aura, take a stroll down the strip and branch to any resort, restaurants, museums, theaters, hotels, gardens, clubs, and casinos.

Reno

In terms of population, Reno is the second-largest city in Nevada after Las Vegas. However, in Northern Nevada, Reno is the largest city. It offers a mix of cultural, outdoor, gaming, and fun activities suited for all ages. Within just 50 miles of the city, you are guaranteed a considerable number of attractions and vibrant events. For a small city with approximately 250,000 residents, Reno immerses visitors into its culture through breathtaking sites of Lake Tahoe, Truckee River, the National Automobile Museum, the Nevada Museum of Arts, and several other interesting museums. Additionally, the city holds popular annual celebrations. These include Great Reno Balloon Race, National Championship Air Races, and the Hot August Nights car convention, among many others.

The Red Rock Canyon

If you are a hiking enthusiast, the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is a beautiful and convenient destination to swoop from the Las Vegas glitter. It is located just outside Las Vegas and showcases the unique geological features, including red the rocks of the Mojave Desert. Although hiking offers the best recreational activity to learn more about the area, the over 195,819 acres of land covers a diverse range of other sites that are good for picnics, biking, rock climbing, rock scrambling, and horseback riding, among others. Upon registration, visitors are given trail maps while children are enrolled in the Junior Explorer Program to facilitate their experiences.

The Hoover Dam Bridge

The Hoover Dam Bridge, built during the great depression, is quite a remarkable construction feat admired by every modern engineer. The impressive dam, which stands at 726-foot-high, was built by over 22,000 individuals over five years. Visitors are allowed to take photographs of the dam and its vicinity from the angle of a helicopter. You’ll be glad to know that the dam is not only an attraction site. It contains the largest reservoir able to generate large scale hydropower that powers not only Nevada but also California and Arizona.

Valley of Fire State Park

The renowned Valley of Fire is a public recreation area found in Nevada near the Hoover Dam, making it a convenient day-trip destination from Las Vegas. The park stretches 16 miles long and covers nearly 46,000 acres to represent what is described as a geological wonderland in the modern world. Most dynamic landscapes found in the Valley of Fire form due to dramatic rock formation and sweeping vistas from colorful rocks. If you are interested in more than just the scenic views, there are several exciting activities that you can engage in while visiting this park. Hiking, camping, and picnics are a few examples of what the park has to offer.
