So with the excitement of our trip building and the anticipation of taking on the challenge we come to a bump in the road. You know, the life shaped kind of bump that brings you back to reality in a nano second!
Whilst it’s good to know you’re wanted and, more importantly needed, I can’t help thinking about how many grand plans and adventures have fallen by the wayside because of the ‘w’ word. Yep that’s right. Work.
Maybe it’s happened to you too? You decide to move on and embark on a new chapter in your life, whether it’s from a job, a relationship or a location and then BAM! Plans change, life happens and all of a sudden you’re nowhere close to where you thought you’d be…
That said. When faced with a situation like this it’s important to keep things in perspective. There are so many things to be grateful for and just because plans change doesn’t mean its the end of the world. On the contrary, I believe that everything happens for a reason and we’re merely going along with the plan the universe has already mapped out for us. A plan that is obviously going to be even more fabulous and exciting than the original plan!
So…the exciting thing is that we are now planning a month of adventure over Christmas and have yet to decide on a destination…AND the challenge is still happening…just not quite yet! 😉
